Hello, thank you for your interest in my books. Currently I have written 2 series of books - The Fizzy Friends Series and Let's Celebrate Adoption! The Fizzy Friends is for children suffering from emotional issues such as anxiety, anger, low self esteem, attention-needing, dread and shame. These stories grew out of my 20 year career as a therapist with children suffering from trauma, poor self-esteem and fear. I have loved writing these stories and my hope is for them to bring comfort and guidance to hundreds of children. The characters are designed to help children have a little muse to walk them through the pain of emotional imbalance and find their way out again. I have kept the stories playful, warm, a little raw and very loving in the hope this will provide real reassurance and inspiration for children who are struggling. Seeing each character come to life into real books has been such a delight for me!

The second series is designed to celebrate how brilliant adoption is for so many children. I have worked for Shropshire Adoption Team for 22 years and have met so many amazing adoptive parents and children. I have seen such strengths in love, patience and endurance that has touched me to the core. These books are for you! I have deliberately tried to cover the areas in adoption that do not get as much attention- same sex adoption, Dads (No idea why you guys got left out so much!) and the foster carers who cared for the children before adoption. These books are all written as lively, playful poem-story books. My hope is for them to lift the hearts of adopted children even higher and add another dose of that lovely family-glue that binds you all together.

In my spare time I am writing series 3 - little spiritual/philosophy stories for young minds.

I am also a Mum to 2 teenagers, a cat and a very busy dog. Murphy keeps me company when I am writing, typing, planning and trying to work out social media.
